Abstract: In this paper a photovoltaic solar power system will be designed to power an LED light. The main components of the system that need to be designed PV module: Convert the solar energy to DC electricity, Battery bank: To store energy and use it in the days when there is no sun ray, Charge controller: Organize charging and discharging the battery, and The load (LED light).it is important to determine the average daily solar insolation [kWh/mΒ² per day]. I have to know how many battery is required to cover our load for one night using different equations.

Keywords: Lighting, Street, Technology, An automatic, Solar.
