Abstract: Converting 2D drawings and blueprints into 3D models is an important process used in fields such as computer-aided design, architecture, engineering, and digital visualization.
A 2D drawing mainly shows the shape and dimensions of an object, but it does not always provide a clear idea about its depth and overall structure. Because of this, understanding the final design can sometimes be difficult. This research focuses on developing an efficient method for converting 2D drawings, blueprints, or images into 3D models. The proposed method analyzes the 2D input, identifies important shapes, measurements, and structural details, and then uses computer-aided design and 3D modeling techniques to create the corresponding 3D model. This process can reduce the amount of manual work required for modeling and also help minimize errors. The generated 3D models make it easier to understand the structure, dimensions, and relationships between different components. The proposed approach can be useful in areas such as architecture, construction, engineering, manufacturing, and other fields that require accurate 3D visualization. Overall, converting 2D designs into 3D models can make the modeling process faster and easier while providing a more realistic and interactive view of the original design.
