Abstract
Releaving the Hidden Secret with LSB Steganography
ANKITA GANORKAR, SUJATA AGRAWAL
Abstract: Data hiding is the art of hiding data for various purposes such as; to maintain private data, secure confidential data and so on. There are lots of techniques used for data hiding and the well known technique is the Steganography. Steganography is one of the most powerful techniques to conceal the existence of hidden secret data inside a cover object. Images are the most popular cover medium used in steganography. Embedding secret information inside images requires intensive computations, and therefore, designing steganography in hardware speeds up steganography. This paper provides a hardware design of Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography technique. The design utilizes the Spartan III FPGA kit of the Altera family and 2/3-LSB steganography algorithm to perform the steganography steps. The design balances the tradeoffs such as imperceptibility, quality and capacity.
Abstract: Simulation of micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) is well established and largely developed. But implementation or fabrication is quite difficult. The bridge of MEMS switch is very much soft but it does not touch the signal line. So there is an important factor of increasing tress. For low power consumption and high signal transfer micro machined structure is introduced. But opening of window or back side micro machining is challenging because here two wafers are taken for making the device. Different types of fabrication related problems described in this paper.
Low Power Adaptive Viterbi Decoder Design For Trellis Coded Modulation
R.MAHENDRAN, T.M.SATHISH KUMAR
Abstract: By using viterbi decoder the power can be reduced according to number of stages used in each block. The efficient way to reduce data corruption in digital communication channels using various decoding algorithm. Although hardware implementations of decoding algorithms, (i.e.,) Viterbi algorithm, have shown good noise tolerance for error-correcting codes, these hardware implementations require an exponential increase in VLSI area and power consumption to achieve increased decoding accuracy in different stages. To achieve reduced decoder power consumption, we noticed the hardware implementation decoders based on the reduced- complexity adaptive Viterbi algorithm (AVA). In proposed decoding method the overall power reduced in each module can be improved when compared to previous method.
Analysis & Design Of Fractance Based Fractional Order Filter
RITU TANWAR, SANJAY KUMAR
Abstract: Analysis of analog filter of fractional order is the main objective of this paper. The basics of fractance device are studied. Rational approximation of fractional order operator using continued fraction expansion is carried out. Analytical expressions of the differentiator operator for different input signals have been developed and simulated in MATLAB software and corresponding simulation results are shown for different orders of differentiation. Fractional order filter is studied and performance of the fractional order filter is checked for different input signals (sine wave, trapezoidal wave, sawtooth wave and chirp signal) with random noise and simulated in MATLAB software and the resulted output is compared with the integer order filter output.

Design Of Imc-Pid Controller For A Higher Order System And Its Comparison With Conventional Pid Controller
LINKAN PRIYADARSHINI, J.S LATHER
Abstract: The proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is the most popular controller used in almost all process industries till date. Earlier it was first implemented in pneumatic devices but now its use is extended to analog as well as digital electronics. The presence of time delay in the system affects the stability and performance of the system. In this paper an IMC-PID controller is designed for a higher order system with time delay and is compared with the conventional PID controller. The simulation result show that the IMC controller provides better performance as compared to the conventional method.
Delay Dependent Stability Criteria For Linear Systems With Time Varying Delay In A Range
RAHUL RADHAKRISHNAN, J.S LATHER
Abstract: Time delays are a common problem in many physical systems. Presence of delay often leads to instability and poor control performance. So study of stability of systems with time delay has gained much popularity. This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of systems with time delay. Time delay is assumed to be continuous time varying function and it belongs to a specified range. This states that the lower and upper bounds of the delay are assumed to be known. Here the upper delay bound is considered to be known and lower delay bound is considered to be zero. Using an appropriate Lyapunov functional, delay dependent stability criteria is proposed. Stability conditions are defined using Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI). Effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated using a suitable numerical example.

Abstract: This paper pertains to performance, productivity, ruggedness and other parameter wise comparison between manually operated, hardware timer based version of extrusion blow Molding machine used for casting of hollow plastic toys with same machine provided with PLC for process automation through the project done at Disha Industries, MIDC Amravati. The result shows improvement in overall machine performance and reduced hardware troubleshooting complexity due to programmable process sequence and editing environment of PLC. This paper deals with the comparison between timer based automatic machine and PLC based automatic Blow Molding machine.

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to wireless weather sensing network through mobile devices or internet. Mobile devices these days are not only used for calling or texting, they offer a wide variety of features and sophisticated sensors such as e-mail, internet, and GPS. Their improvement in hardware and software is remarkable, offering new ways to develop different kinds of applications exploiting all of their capabilities. In this paper, I present the approach to integrate a personal mobile device application and wireless sensing network for data monitoring purposes. This project is designed to collect weather data from remote stations which can then be viewed on a mobile phone in real-time. Of course we can see the results using internet also. This is a type of data transfer through wireless communication by PIC microcontroller. This system will be useful in biomedical applications, seashore areas, transport regions, food divisions, rice mills and power production department. Depends upon the corresponding sensor readings, amplifier/convertor sends the data to microcontroller. Those values will be indicated in LCD display at the transmitter side itself. Then using zigbee transceiver, those values are transmitted to receiver section. From receiver section that value is transmitted to PC by using RS232 cable. In PC we can see the value which was displayed at transmitter section. And finally this value will be uploaded in World Wide Web (internet).

Contrast Enhancement of brain MRI images using histogram based techniques
PRATIK VINAYAK OAK, PROF.MRS. R.S.KAMATHE
Abstract: MRI is an advanced medical imaging technique used to produce high quality images of human body and different parts. It gives detail information to analyse the diseases. Medical image processing plays important role to give information in more extent for such advance images. Original MRI images are generally having low contrast. It is difficult for doctors to analyse them. By increasing the contrast of an image, it will be easy for analysing because of detailed information. This increase in contrast can be done by number of ways in image processing. This paper compares different methods of enhancement of brain MRI using histogram based techniques.

BHUVNESH GAUR, PARDEEP KUMAR
Abstract: With the proliferation of usage of wireless sensor networks almost in all kind of monitoring activities of any given terrain, these networks have become a very fast growing area for research and commercial development. The essential characteristics of wireless sensor networks such as coverage, connectivity, cost and lifetime are decided by the number, locations and types of sensors of the network. The work presented here focuses on the coverage of wireless sensor networks which is one of the most important measures of such networks. A modified discrete binary particle swarm optimization method for sensor deployment has been presented. This algorithm is capable of very efficiently deploying the sensors with an objective of maximizing the coverage and minimizing the network cost. The optimality rate of the algorithm is also higher in comparison to genetic algorithms.
