Abstract: This paper introduces grid-connected PV system to
provide electricity for loads fractions of the governmental building in "Qena Al-Gadida" through two
plans with different prices of electricity according to consumption rates. The
first plan assuming the price of electricity purchased from the grid is equal
to the price paid by the utility for electricity sold to the grid (sellback
price). The second plan assumes that the sellback price is higher than the grid
power price. HOMER package used for simulation.
