				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to develop a home automation system using an Arduino board with Bluetooth being remotely controlled by any Android OS Smart phone. As technology is advancing so houses are also getting smarter. Modern houses are gradually shifting from conventional switches to centralized control system, involving remote controlled switches. Presently, conventional wall switches located in different parts of the house makes it difficult for the user to go near them to operate. Even more it becomes more difficult for the elderly or physically handicapped people to do so. Remote controlled home automation system provides a most modern solution with smart phones. In order to achieve this, a Bluetooth module is interfaced to the Arduino board at the receiver end while on the transmitter end, a GUI application on the cell phone sends ON/OFF commands to the receiver where loads are connected. By touching the specified location on the GUI, the loads can be turned ON/OFF remotely through this technology. The loads are operated by Arduino board through opto-isolators and thyristors using triacs. </p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Abstract: Oral health helps to maintain the health state of all the structures like lips, teeth, gum, tongue and palate, good oral hygiene emphasis on cleanliness and moisturizing of mouth structures.<br />
Objectives of the study is to assess the prevalence of oral problems among school children, determine the awareness of oral hygiene among school children, develop and distribute information booklet regarding prevalence of oral problem and awareness regarding oral hygiene, co-relate the prevalence of oral problems with awareness of oral hygiene among school children,  find out the association between prevalence of oral problems and awareness of oral hygiene with selected sociodemographic variable.<br />
Material and Methods: Non- experimental descriptive research approach was employed descriptive design. A set of self-administered knowledge questionnaires was used to collect data. Written permission has obtained from the research ethical committee and formal written permission has also been obtained from the Principal of selected senior secondary schools The reliability of the tool was determined by using split half method and the tool was found to be highly reliable.<br />
Result: The findings reveal that 0.7% children had inadequate knowledge regarding oral hygiene, 7.0% children had moderate knowledge regarding oral hygiene, 92.3% children had adequate knowledge regarding oral hygiene. Mean Percentage Scores 46.02 and SD 6.118. </p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Abstract:  The scope for Internet of Things (IoTs) has been growing exponentially due to its rapid evolution of computers, cell phones, and the internet. E-learning has become more and more popular as a result of the increased possible options for distance learning. Remote laboratories have been one of the options being examined as a serious replacement to traditional laboratories. The main objective of the work is to provide access to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) laboratory from distant location. So, that it will contribute to the fields like “Distance learning”, “Remote laboratories”, “Virtual learning environments” etc. In distance education, the students may not always be physically present at an institution. However, theory classes are being conducted online but laboratory tasks are not yet been conducted over the internet. Hence scope for remote laboratory has been increasing rapidly. Remote laboratory is the use of embedded systems and IoTs to establish a connection with the real laboratory experiments at the distant location. The rapid development of processors and internet gives IOT enabled devices much more flexibility. Also, remote laboratories enable intensive use of university facility. The work focused on converting the PLC universal simulator experiments into remote control online laboratory. The development of remote laboratory for a PLC Universal Simulator helps the students to carry out laboratory experiments at any time from any location. With the help of IOT Platform and Blynk Mobile application, accessing the PLC Universal Simulator inputs/outputs are carried.</p>

There are many different ways by which we can save energy in different sectors. Our main focus is on automobile sector where we are converting old petroleum bike to electric bike. In this electric bike we use electrical motor (BLDC hub motor) instead of combustion engine as it emits less pollution, low maintenance cost, reduces noise. This bike utilizes chemical energy stored in the rechargeable battery packs. This paper deals with the design and development of electric bike which makes use of electric energy as primary source. There is a distribution for charging the battery emitting it from the main system.</p>

Dynamic behaviour of these converters is highly nonlinear because of their changing time and design. By changing PI parameters using optimised techniques, the efficiency of the Luo converters is improved. Genetic algorithm (GA) is developed for PI optimization in this work and also the Modified Bacterial Foraging (MBF) algorithm. The results show that MBF-PI and GA-PI controller performance is higher to the classic ZN-PI controller performance.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Abstract:  In rubber product formulation, the processing oils are important ingredients that eases mixing, filler dispersion, shaping and finetuning of mechanical properties. Aromatic oils are one of the widely used process aids since 1950s, but of late it has acquired legal constraints since 2010 which is based on the report by Swedish National Chemicals Inspectorate. Aromatic oils have been criticized and restricted by European countries owing to the presence of poly cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) beyond the permissible limits. PAHs are regarded as volatile organic compounds, persistent toxic substances, persistent organic pollutants for their negative ecological impact due to their high volatility, reactivity, teratogenicity, mutagenic and carcinogenic power. They enter into food chain through air, water, soil and organisms. Thus, as the need of the hour, present work outlays an alternate safe substance ‘liquid butadiene rubber’ (LBR) as a non-carcinogenic process aid. It is non-aromatic and can be synthesized from various sources. The LBR [1, 2, 4, 6 and 8 parts per hundred rubber (phr)] is used in the formulation and have been studied for its effect on Mooney viscosity, curing characteristics and mechanical properties. From the characterization and test data, LBR was found to be a promising substitute as it offered the results equivalent to that of the control compound containing 10phr of conventional aromatic oil. This effort could give way to shift our dependency from non-renewable crude oil to other synthetic / natural renewable sources resulting in ecological sustainability.</p>
