Hence various protective scheme and devices such as protective relay and fault recorder systems, based on fundamental power frequency signals, are installed to separate the faulty line and provide the fault position. However, the error is high especially in transmission lines, so to provide a good quality of electricity as well as to prevent accidents, a study of protective scheme is very important. This paper provides a brief review of various faults and wavelet based fault detection methods used for their detection.</p>

The people get affected with various health problems such as blood pressure and cardiac problems etc. To avoid these health issues, medical monitoring system can play a vital role by regular monitoring of blood pressure, heart rate and haemoglobin at various interval of time. One can send these data to hospitals/doctors for further analysis. Doctor can send appropriate prescription, necessary actions to be taken with the help of IoT platform. This system can help a normal human being/patient to collect data at their residential premises itself without wasting any time in travelling to the hospitals or clinics. This system can be useful for physically disable, senior citizens. This system is user friendly, portable and saves time of particular patient. The Wi-Fi module is used to communicate with the doctor available at remote hospital, where he views patient’s health and prescribe any treatment if necessary.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><b>Abstract:</b> Distance matrices are used for measuring the distance between two matrices. Using Distance matrices we can generate a Latin square which is also called as Sudoku code. Latin squares have a variety of different practical applications, for example they can be used to code messages, design tournaments or generate magic squares. The theory of Latin squares is very important tool in design theory. Like much of design theory, Latin squares have various applications in statistics, finite geometries and experimental design, to name a few. In this paper, attempt is made proposed an efficient parallel algorithm for Latin square design which have desirable properties for parallel array access. These squares provide conflict free access to various subsets of an n x n array using n memory modules. A transversal of such a square is a set of n entries such that no two entries share the same row, column or symbol. It will present a general construction method for building parallel Latin square of order n <sup>2</sup>for all n.  The proposed algorithm presents a quick method to produce a Latin square design. The simulation results of the proposed algorithm for Latin square design were compared with the traditional sequential algorithm Latin square design in terms of speedup and efficiency. The results of Latin Square design were very promising and showed a potential that this design could successfully be applied to the routing problems for conflict free data access.</p>

In our proposed work, which includes gradient information and probability scores from a standard classifier. The distance regularized level set, and k-nearest neighbour’s and SVM are used to experimenting the medical images.</p>

India is developing nation with the growth in population and upsurge in the utilization of electricity is tremendously increasing at an upsetting rate.  The following paper explains an idea about efficient use of liquid coolant jet to generate electricity using an open loop coolant flow which gives most economical solution for provincial electrification purpose at Cummins PHP plant. This is achieved by allowing the liquid coolant jet to fall on low head open type water turbine coupled to alternator by means of gear pulley mechanism. The generated electrical energy is fed to lighting load. The working principle, functioning, design with calculations and applications along with future scope of captive power plant has been explained in this paper.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><strong>Abstract:  </strong>The load variation in the power system is unpredictable which cause the drift in frequency, voltage to change from their nominal value resulting loss of generation and even blackout. So an approach has been undertaken for investigating the automatic generation control considering three equal area power systems at the first instant. In the present work, a proportional derivative controller with derivative filter (PIDF) is proposed and the gain values of the proposed controller are tuned using Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm. The superiority of the proposed controller is demonstrated by comparing the results with Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller. In the next step, proposed approach is extended to three unequal area reheat thermal power systems considering nonlinearities like Generation Rate Constraint (GRC) and Governor Dead Band (GDB). Further, Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) is placed in the tie-line to improve the dynamic response of the system based on integral time multiplied absolute error (ITAE), settling times and peak over shoot. Furthermore, Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) is incorporated in area-1 for further improvement in responses of the system. From the results, it is clear that the combination of UPFC and SMES provides better results.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p align="justify"><strong>Abstract:</strong> There are thousands of car accidents in the every year across the world. These accidents claim many lives and lots of properties. There are many different types of accidents, including rear end collisions, side swipes, head on collisions, collisions with stationary objects, accidents while changing lanes, and driving off the road. Seat belt usage, air bags, cruise control, rumble strips, and stricter vehicle safety requirements have all helped to reduce the number of accidents and fatalities. However, it is now possible to do more, by using intelligent driver assistant systems. In this paper, we propose a design lane departure warning system with object classification on road so that the driver can take smart and corrective measures to avoid the deviation from the lane as well as to avoid collision with the vehicle ahead of it. This safety system of Advanced Driver’s Assistance System (ADAS) can help in checking the road accidents. The system highly relies on the Open CV for lane line detection as Lane Departure Warning system (LDWS). The second part of the paper is object detection at the front of the vehicle for collision avoidance. It uses stereo camera as vision sensor. The real image obtained from vision system gives more accurate information to detect the target vehicle and gives satisfactory result. The output from the stereo vision sensor is fed to the controlling unit. Yolo (You Only Look Once) based real time object detection is used to determine the presence of the vehicles in the frame. Depth map for the vehicles located in the vision frame is obtained with help of stereo camera System Development Kit (SDK).</p>
