ABSTRACT: The Solar-Based Railway Track Fault Detection System is designed to improve railway safety by detecting faults such as cracks, obstacles, and abnormal vibrations on railway tracks. The system uses solar energy as its primary power source, making it eco-friendly and suitable for remote areas. An Arduino-based control unit integrates sensors like IR sensors, ultrasonic sensors, and vibration sensors to monitor track conditions in real time. When a fault is detected, the system stops the motorized unit and sends alerts using GSM and GPS modules. This ensures early detection, reduces accidents, and improves railway safety.
